London splits in poor and superrich

Hele Skjervold, Afternposten’s London correspondent, explains inequalities in London to her Norwegian readers. Norway is one of the most equitable of countries in the world. Although there is still poverty and riches in Norway it can be hard for Norwegians to understand the extent of economic, social, educational and health inequalities that are currently tolerated in London. In this article examples are used from Londonmapper and the book ‘The 32 stops’ to try to describe the current extent of the gaps between the lives of different Londoners living in different parts of the capital.
